Alan grew up on a farm 4 miles from a small town of Rhame, North Dakota. He is one of 11 children and learned early that a strong work ethic is always required.
As a young man he served this great country as a corpman in the Vietnam War. His love of Country is only second to his love of family. Married to the love of his life, Becky, for more than 25 years he is a true family man.
Alan recently retired as a public servant with more than 30 years at the Federal Government.
With no plans but to enjoy life, retirement has brought out Alan’s inner artist. Currently he is working with wood, rocks and paint.
Each year as he travels to places in Nevada, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and Arizona searching for local wood and rocks that can be hand crafted into unique works of art.
